Professor Xi Chang-yoon graduated from the Foreign Affairs University in 1966. He began to work in 1982 as a research scholar at Institute of the rule of governance in international strategies, national strategies of Chinese Academy of Social Science, writing series of research reports, academic papers for several Departments of monographs.
He was appointed as the Director of Research Office of the world's political and economical studies Research government subsidies for the experts in 1992, a position he hold till his retirement in 1998.After retirement, Professor Xi is still engaged in the investigation of the situation on the international political and economic assessment of the situation analysis and research. Since the early 1990s, he studied the business strategy for extension of regional economic strategy and advised Chinese corporations to focus on international competition. He is director of several state own enterprises and conducted in-depth research on China's the corporate culture and corporate strategy.
